Only on Tuesdays and Thursdays

I am always early to class.


Except for Tuesdays and Thursdays.


Each morning, I wake up at 8:02 a.m. (I'm serious--almost every time), get ready for school, and take a breakfast bar to eat on my walk to class. Not on Tuesday and Thusday mornings though.

My routine:

8:00 a.m. -- Look at my alarm clock but then decide that the snooze button looks a lot better than the "Stop the Alarm" button

8:10 a.m. -- Not ready to roll out of bed just yet. Snooze button, you are my best friend.

8:20 a.m. -- Snooozeeeeeeee.

8:30 a.m. -- Okay, I should probably get up and be productive with my life. But this pillow feels amazing. So...snooze button, click.

8:40 a.m. -- Snoozzeeeeee

9:00 a.m. -- Uh-oh, I have class at 9:30 a.m. and I sitll haven't done anything. Fine, I will get up.

9:25 a.m. --Leave my apartment

9:35 a.m. -- (Class started at 9:30 by the way) Knock, knock...Can you let me in?

I am being completely honest when I say this is exactly how every Tuesday and Thursday morning has gone for me these past two weeks of classes.

You would think as a senior at Ohio Northern, I would learn to leave my apartment a little sooner, or wake up a little eariler. I think I will learn my lesson one of these Tuesdays or Thursdays...

  1. This sounds very much like some of my mornings! I hate getting up on Tuesdays and Thursdays to go to work because my bed is such a better alternative! I have full faith that you will be able to get back into the groove of school Ashley. I mean it really is only week two. Good luck :)

  2. Tuesdays and Thursday are rough for me as well! Those are my two days with class in the afternoon and my body just seems to think I can sleep right up until it's time to leave. I hate having class early in the morning but for some reason my body wakes up much better on those days.
